Yan Jun

Sound maker, known as music critic, poet and organizer. born in Lanzhou in 1973. Graduated from Department of Chinese Language & Literature in Northwest Normal University in 1995. Now lives and works in Beijing. Founder of Sub Jam and KwanYin labels. Founder of Tie Guan Yin (improvised music project) and Tang (duo). Runing the Waterland Kwanyin weekly free event for experimental/improvised music.

Use pc on sound material, but on stage with simple equipments (cd player, I-pod, signal generator, mixer) with throat singing and simple physical sound source (singing bowl, tuning fork, etc.).
